In conjunction with senior management, formulates strategy and sets direction for compensation and benefits programs that are consistent with the business goals, enhance the company’s ability to attract, develop and retain the best talent, and position the client as the employer of choice in our chosen markets. Partners closely with business and HR leaders to develop effective and sustainable processes and programs.  Expected to manage effectively within a complex environment where dealing with some level of ambiguity is required.  Regularly interacts with all levels of management.  Requires the ability to change the thinking of or gain acceptance of others in sensitive situations.

·         In conjunction with the Company U.S. benefit harmonization team, implement the new 2011 harmonized benefits. Work with the team to finalize plan designs and transition plans, select providers, establish governance and servicing models and develop communication strategy. Lead the Oracle Advanced Benefits configuration, testing and deployment.

·         Serve as Company HR functional lead for the SAP HR implementation.  Participate in U.S. payroll and time harmonization alignment.  Oversee company requirement gathering, gap analysis, data transfer, testing and effective change management.

·         Partner with corporate compensation to formulate strategy and set direction for compensation programs including salary administration, long term incentives, sales commission and variable pay programs to support and drive business strategy. Oversee job design/analysis, documentation and evaluation, market data research and statistical analysis to support global operations. Manage Payroll function.

·         Manage and oversee benefit programs including: health and welfare programs, life and disability insurance, retirement plans and wellness initiatives and relocation programs.  Ensure programs are current with regard to trends, practices and costs.  Leverage and enhance communication strategies to provide a consistent employee understanding and appreciation of programs and policies.

·         Manage relocation program.  Establish policies, monitor costs and program effectiveness, and manage vendor relationships. Ensure appropriate cost tracking and reporting with Finance and Payroll.  Oversee International Assignment program for company inbound and outbound transferees.

·         Evaluate the effectiveness and functionality of HRMS systems.  Solicit input and feedback on satisfaction level of customers in the effectiveness of such systems.  Research alternatives and improve automated processes, data reporting and data connectivity between enterprise systems.  Provide HR system functional advice to the HR business groups to enable effective decision-making.

·         Work on potential acquisition due diligence team to review compensation, benefits and system considerations.  Post acquisition; serve as key member of integration team.

·         Monitor work to ensure quality, and continuously promote Quality First Time.

 

Skill & Experience:

·         Minimum of 8 years of compensation, benefits and HRMS experience within a fast growth, high-tech business environment.  Demonstrated track record of success in developing and implementing successful and creative compensation and benefit programs.  Experience leading successful HRMS conversions.  Requires a minimum of 2 years experience in a leadership capacity. 

·         Must have demonstrated initiative in past performance and be capable of functioning in a fast-paced, change-oriented environment.

·         Demonstrated experience as a progressive, creative change agent with excellent problem solving and analytical skills.

·         Requires strong managerial and team building skills. 

·         Through prior experience, must have demonstrated high level of skill in dealing with ambiguous and often complex work situations.

·         Computer literacy (MSWord, Excel, Access and PowerPoint) required.

·         Must have a Bachelors degree in human resources, business administration or related field.

·         Masters degree, PHR/SPHR preferred.
