Nurse Manager, Outpatient Ambulatory Surgery

Springfield, IL

Responsible for managing the overall operations of Outpatient Ambulatory Surgical unit. Responsibilities include budget preparation, supervision of clinical nursing, design, implementation and monitoring of quality monitoring activities, staff scheduling, and evaluation, promotion of professional growth and leadership supportive of a collaborative and customer driven environment.

·         Must have a current licensure to practice professional nursing in the State of Illinois.

·         3-5 yrs nursing required with previous management experience preferred.

·         Experience in perioperative nursing preferred. 

·         Bachelor's Degree in Nursing required.

·         Must have effective communication skills, good human relation skills and the ability to work independently and cooperatively with others.

·         Demonstrated strong customer service behavior using servant leadership characteristics is vital to successful performance in this position.

·         Must possess critical thinking skills with the ability to make effective decisions
