Director-Nursing Professional Practice
Location: Middletown, NY
Our client, a hospital with two campuses and several off-site locations
and 2600 employees has an opportunity for an experienced Director-Nursing Professional Practice. Under the direction of the
Vice President of Patient Care Services, performs a variety of duties and has the administrative authority, responsibility
and accountability for the direction, development and implementation of nursing governance and the professional practice department
of the hospital, including nursing education, quality improvement, standards and regulatory compliance.
Requirements:
· Graduate of an accredited school
of professional nursing.
· Master Degree in Nursing, Nursing
Administration, or Hospital Administration is preferred.
· Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing
is required.
· Must have at least five years
of supervisory/management experience within an acute care hospital.
· License for Professional Registered
Nurse in New York State; current and ongoing AHA BLS
