Director of Public Relations
Location: San Jose, California

Our client develops and licenses semiconductor packaging technology.
Responsibilities:
We are looking for an experienced PR professional to develop and implement
public relations strategies and tactics that significantly expand our media exposure and brand reputation as a leading provider
of miniaturization technologies for the electronics industry. The candidate must be skilled at all aspects of corporate and
technical PR including messaging, writing, pitching, managing PR agencies and developing and maintaining press and analyst
relations.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 7 years of PR experience
with a proven track record in a fast-paced environment.
- Must possess a solid understanding
and comfort with technology; wireless technology experience a plus.
- Credibility and experience
to act as an advisor and influencer at senior levels.
- Ability to manage a network
of global PR agencies; international media experience a plus.
- Strategic thinker who excels
at coming up with original ideas and is able to execute.
- Ability to proactively identify
communications opportunities and develop supporting programs
- Excellent verbal and written
communication skills; as well as the ability to effectively communicate both internally and externally.
Preference is a candidate with a blend of agency and corporate experience in
high-tech PR. Companies like: Loomis, Porter Novelli, Hill and Knowlton, Blanc
